Water Project Update

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Temporary road closure: The roadway just west of our westernmost driveway will be closed for up to two days while the lines are installed. This closure will most likely occur after Thanksgiving week.

  • Church access: Both entrances to the church are expected to remain open throughout the project. Neither entrance is scheduled to close.

  • Traffic detours: During the temporary road closure, traffic approaching from the south and west will need to travel northeast on Golden Triangle and approach the church from the east via Golden Heights. (See map for Detour route)

Once these crossings are complete, the roads will reopen, and no additional road closures are anticipated.

As we receive confirmed dates for the road closures, I will send additional communications so everyone has the most up-to-date information and can plan accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’re grateful for your flexibility as we move toward completion!

Great news! Work on the water and sewer project is about to begin! Our contractor expects to have a crew available around November 9, weather and site conditions permitting.

What to Expect

The crew anticipates needing a minimum of 8 days to a couple of weeks to complete laying the water and sewer lines along the south side of Golden Heights. The timeline will depend on rainfall and the type of rock encountered.

During this phase, the entrance to the neighborhood across the street from us at Great Bear Drive may be partially closed for one to two days while the crew completes that crossing.

Once that work is complete, the lines will need to cross Golden Heights onto the ACF property, requiring a temporary road closure.
