Remembering 9/11

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001—a day our nation will never forget. As we remember the lives lost and the families and communities forever changed, we are also reminded of the hope we have in Christ. In moments of fear, uncertainty, and brokenness, God calls His people to stand firm, love one another, and be a light to those around us. May we remember not only what happened on 9/11, but also the courage, compassion, and unity that followed—and may we carry that same spirit of love and hope into the world today.

Women’s Gathering Donations

Saturday, September 26 | 6:30–8:30 PM | Building 3

ACF Women are gathering for an evening of connection, encouragement, and growing deeper in faith—and they’re inviting the whole ACF family to join them in serving our city.

The evening will include a potluck dinner, fellowship, and fun, followed by a service project benefiting Community Storehouse’s Weekend Snack Pack Program. The program provides nutritious, kid-friendly food to children who may not have enough to eat when school meals aren’t available.

Everyone at ACF can be part of this service opportunity! You can help by donating items for the snack packs:

Fruit cups with plastic lids (no foil)
Granola or fruity bars
Cheese crackers
Individual bags of chips
Microwaveable popcorn or oatmeal
Mac & cheese cups
Cookies
Fruit snacks or fruit roll-ups
Pudding cups

Bring donations to the Worship Center foyer September 13–20, or (women) bring them with you to the gathering on September 26.

And if you’re an adult woman, come join ACF Women for the evening! Whether you stay for the whole gathering or simply stop by to connect and drop off a donation, there’s a place for you. Come as you are, bring a friend, and be part of an evening where doing life together leads to loving and serving our city.
